Patrick Quin and Patrick Coine guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Benjamin Catcut in the parish of Northwood on the Isle of Wight on 29th May 1794: with intent to commit murder.  They were taken from the County Gaol at 2 o’clock in the morning to Southampton and for there by boat to Cowes.  They were hanged between Forest Gate and Northwood and afterwards their bodies were put in chains and they were gibbeted there.
